The Law Society is the regulatory body for over 116,000 solicitors in England and Wales.

They regulate and set the standards for solicitors to make sure good and ethical services are being provided to consumers. The Law Society represent solicitors and support them in achieving the standards that are expected of them.

The Wolverhampton City Council provide a range of advice, their website holds information on applying for benefits, family information services, registration services, licensing, community and living, enviroment and planning, trading standard information and much more.

Established in January 2007 and previously known as the Law Society Regulation Board, the SRA or The Solicitors Regulation Authority regular over 100,00 solicitors in England and Wales.
